Eric Hughes, ND
NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR
JOINING OUR TEAM IN JUNE 2026
Dr. Eric Hughes is a naturopathic doctor at The AIM Clinic in Exeter, NH, specializing in regenerative medicine and natural pain management designed to trigger the body’s natural healing response rather than simply masking symptoms.
Dr. Eric provides advanced, non-surgical treatments for joint pain, arthritis, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, using regenerative therapies tailored to each patient’s needs.
He seeks to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love — without relying on surgery or long-term medications.
Originally from Everett, Washington, Dr. Hughes earned his Bachelor of Science in Basic Medical Sciences from Washington State University in 2013, followed by his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2019. His training in physical medicine and rehabilitation naturally progressed into a specialized focus on regenerative therapies, including non-invasive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care.
Dr. Eric has developed extensive clinical expertise in regenerative and injection-based treatments, including ultrasound-guided platelet-rich plasma (PRP), Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (A2M), and umbilical cord extract. He treats patients using precise, evidence-informed techniques to address joint pain, tendon injuries, neuropathy, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions at their source. His approach integrates regenerative injections with advanced therapies — such as focused shockwave therapy, INDIBA® TECAR therapy, laser therapy, Electrons Plus™ PEMF, and functional rehabilitation — to accelerate healing, improve mobility, and deliver long-term pain relief.
Outside of the clinic, Eric’s experience includes serving as a ringside physician for amateur kickboxing events, providing IV therapy at marathon events, and performing back-to-school sports physicals for student athletes. Before his medical career, he coached CrossFit for seven years, developing a deep appreciation for discipline, resilience, and long-term transformation.
When he’s not in the office, Eric prioritizes spending time with his wife, Alyssa, and their children, Sophie and Connor. He also enjoys being outdoors and competing as a professional disc golfer.
