Background

Steve started out his journey in healthcare in 2008 when he began working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health, cognitive impairment, and addiction issues. After graduating from nursing school in 2010, Steve transitioned into Emergency Medicine where he spent almost a decade and eventually became Director of Emergency Services for two local hospitals. In 2019, with a desire to form more long-term relationships with patients, and help them to find lasting health solutions, he made the transition from Nurse to Family Nurse Practitioner. Steve trained at an Integrative Medicine practice and has additionally trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine. Steve spent 3 years in Primary Care and Hospital Medicine using every opportunity to incorporate his integrative experience into the conventional model. Steve joined The AIM Clinic in 2022 to further pursue his passion of helping people through root cause analysis and utilizing a natural approach to physical and mental health.
Steve has a passion for health, fitness, travel, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures.
